Out Today: Suki Waterhouse - Memoir of a Sparklemuffin

Memoir of a Sparklemuffin is the second studio album by the British singer-songwriter Suki Waterhouse released today. Several tracks on the album were already released as singles, including "To Love" from 2023 and "OMG" and "Supersad" from this year. 

Out Today: Allie X - Girl with No Face

 Allie X has released her fifth studio album Girl with No Face through Twin Records. In January, we featured her hit "Off with her Tits" and in the mean time she has also released "Weird World" which is the first track on her new album.

Out Today: MGMT - Loss of Life

 MGMT have released their fifth studio album, entitled Loss Of Life today. Four singles were already take from the album including their latest, "Dancing in Babylon", a duet with Chrstine and the Queens. This is their first album in four years, after Little Dark Age and marks the label chnage from Columbia to a New York independet label called Mom + Pop.

Out Today: Idles - TANGK

Idles have released their fifth studio album TANGK today. The album release was preceded by three singles, including "Dancer" and "Grace," both released last year. The Last Dinner Party has released their highly anticipated and long-awaited new album, Prelude to Ecstasy today. Lust for Youth are back with new album which is out this week. This is the third full length album by the Swedish producer Hannes Norrvide which is announced to be warmer and more inviting than any of his previous work. The new album is entitled 'Perfect View' and is composed of largely instrumental pieces, focusing more on beats, samples and general ambiance. 

 The band will embark on their first European and us tours this spring and summer, joining Chelsea Wolfe in Europe this April/May and touring the Us in late May beginning with the Chaos in Tejas festival and ending with Brooklyn’s Northside festival.

Out This Week: Crystal Castles - (III)

Crystal Castles are back with their third studio album out this week. 'III' is the title of the new album which was produced entirely by Ethan Kath. The album's first two singles, "Plague" and "Wrath of God" were released during this summer and they were available for free download on the duo's Soundcloud page. The album cover features a picture by Spanish photographer Samuel Aranda. European tour dates to promote the album were announced on October 17, 2012, on the band's official website.

The Irrepressibles have have released the long awaited follow up to their 2010 album 'Mirror Mirror'. The new album is entitled 'Nude' features the songs "New World" and "Arrow" which were previously released as singles. Out This Week: Clockwork Orchestra- Friends Without Names

'Friends Without Names' is the exciting debut album by Clockwork Orchestra (aka Irish songwriter Paul Mangan) set for release on White Label Music, an independent record label based in Windsor which is co-run by Ann Shenton, a founding member of art rockers Add N To (X). 

A chocolate box of melodic treasures, the album was recorded entirely within the confines of Mangan's bedroom studio and demonstrates his love of nursery rhymes, vintage keyboard instruments and lyrical storytelling. 'Friends Without Names' takes the listener on a unique journey through a frenzied world of vibrant colours, songs within songs, eccentric characters and chronic symphonies. 

The live incarnation of Clockwork Orchestra have recently returned from performing a series of shows in Germany and have an album launch set for November 3nd at the Twisted Pepper in Dublin to celebrate the release of Friends Without Names on compact disc. The digital album is released this week.

The Danish indie rock duo The Raveonettes have released their sixth studio album this week. The album is entitled 'Observator' and it was issued on Vice Records. It features three singles, "Observations" and "She Owns The Streets" were released earlier this summer, while their third single "The Enemy" is due on September 24th.

Toronto-based electro pop outfit Parallels have released a follow up to their debut album "Visionaries" which was issued in 2010. The new album announces lighter italo pop sound with synth starlight which is a result of the split between Cameron Findlay and Holly Dodson who were working together on their debut album. The album release was preceded by 'Time Will Crawl' EP which was released in May. The new album is available on vinyl and CD and it is out on Marigold Records.

Light Asylum are releasing their self titled debut album this week. The album will be out on May 1st and it is the follow-up to their 2011 EP 'In Tension'. First single from the album "Shallow Tears" was re-recorded and mixed w/ previously unreleased b-side "Genesis". Out This Week: Rufus Wainwright- Out of the Game

Rufus Wainwright will release his seventh studio album this week. The album is entitled 'Out of the Game' and it was produced by Mark Ronson. Songs appearing on the album were influenced by the music of David Bowie, Elton John and Queen. To promote the album, Wainwright will begin touring in late–April 2012. He will perform songs from the album during a six-date European tour including performances in Denmark, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, France and Spain.

The Shins are releasing their fourth studio album 'Port of Morrow' this week. The album is out on March 20th and features the single "Simple Song" which was released in January. They have also confirmed "It's Only Life" to be their second single to be taken from the album. Out This Week: The Magnetic Fields- Love at The Bottom of The Sea

The Magnetic Fields have released their eleventh studio album this week (March 5, 2012). The album is entitled Love at the Bottom of the Sea and it is the band's first release with Merge since 1999's '69 Love Songs'. After releasing three albums relatively free of synthesizers as part of a "no-synth trilogy", 'Love at the Bottom of the Sea' features the blend of acoustic and synthesized instruments that the band was known for in the 90's. The album was recorded by Stephin Merritt and Charles Newman at Bell Tree (LA). "Andrew in Drag" is the only track from the album which was confirmed as a single.
