Helen was not a single performer, but a studio-driven Italo disco project active in the 1980s, created by producers Roberto Barocelli, Ennio Ronchelli and Daniela Paratici. Over the years, different vocalists gave life to the tracks, including Elena Ferretti for "Witch". The song was originally released in 1983 and stood out for the layered drum machine rhythms and Elena's striking vocals. The song was reissued in 2010 and 2020.
