Next Wave: Led Er Est

Led Er Est was formed in New York in early 2007 by Samuel Kklovenhoof and Shawn NoEQ and joined later by Owen Stokes who was recruited to the band's minimal electronic arsenal. They are among the leaders of the new cold wave and minimal synth scene. Their music seamlessly blends the styles that defined the early 80s synth-pop era, ranging from minimal cold wave electronica to the darker edges of post-punk.
Last year, they released their debut Dust on Common for Weird Records and recently they also recorded their version of the Solid Space classic "A Darkness In My Soul"
