Sunship Balloon emerged in 2020, comprising two-thirds of The Wombats. When lead singer Matthew Murphy ventured into Love Fame Tragedy, his bandmates Dan Haggis and Tord Øverland-Knudsen embarked on a new sonic journey as Sunship Balloon. Their music blends Synth and Indie Pop, resulting in a captivating indietronica sound. To date, they have released two studio albums, including Real Humans, which debuted in January of this year and has swiftly become one of our favorite albums of 2024.
