Instant Hit: Virna Lindt- Intelligence
Virna Lindt, the Swedish model and star released two albums and several singles in the first half of the 80's decade. All her records were produced by Tot Tylor and they were issued by Compact Organisation label. Her music was mainly pop with some experimental inputs. "Intelligence" was released in 1983 and it was featured on her debut album Shiver. In 2007 LTM Publishing (Les Temps Modernes) reissued her debut album with bonus tracks.
Wire to Release a New Album in March 2013
Wire have announced a new album for March next year. The album will be entitled 'Change Becomes Us' and as it is reported, it will include some unrecorded material originally written in 1979–80 which had only ever existed as quickly prepared sketches for one-off performance. This album is also the first time where Matthew Simms, previously Wire's touring guitarist, has been an integral part of the Wire recording process. The 13 track record is due on March 25, 2013 and we hope to get more official news soon.

Last month we featured the video for their brilliant single "Nightlife" and we wanted to find out more about the band and got in touch with the lead singer Jason Corbett. Kraftwerk Announce Eight Albums, Eight Nights Residency in London
After New York and Düsseldorf, Kraftwerk have announced eight live performances in Tate Modern’s Turbine Hall in London. 'KRAFTWERK - THE CATALOGUE 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8' is a chronological exploration of the group’s sonic and visual experiments and presents eight classic master works from across their celebrated repertoire with spectacular 3D visualisations and effects.
The shows will kick off on Wednesday 6th February till Thursday 14th February 2013. Tickets go on sale Wednesday 12th December 2012 at 07:30 GMT.
Factory Benelux Reissues :The Wake- Harmony
Following the news about the recent Names reissue announcements, Factory Benelux presents a new CD edition of Harmony, the debut album by influential Scottish group The Wake, The album was originally released by Factory Records in December 1982 and this December it celebrates the 30th Anniversary. 'Harmony' was recorded at Strawberry Studios in Stockport with producer Chris Nagle and it was originally released as Fact 60.
This new CD version includes bonus include second single, "Something Outside", and their John Peel session from July 1983, plus enhanced artwork featuring previously unseen images of the band by noted photographer Paul Slattery, taken at the Mitchell Library in Glasgow. The album ids due for release on February 11, 2013.
The band released a new album A Light Far Out, which is among our favorites for this year.

WAW: School of Seven Bells- Scavenger
The Bowery presents recently featured this performance by School of Seven Bells which took place in a NYC model-form shop (sadly the video is not available anymore). Surrounded by mannequins, the band performed "Scavenger", the fourth single from their album Ghostory which was released earlier this year.
