Featured: Talk Talk- Such a Shame

"Such A Shame" was one of Talk Talk's biggest hits in continental Europe and the second single from the the album It's My Life. The songs was written by Mark Hollis and he was inspired by Luke Rhinehart’s cult novel The Dice Man. The novel tells a story of psychiatrist who begins making life decisions based on the casting of dice. The song was reissued twice, in 1990, when it became a hit in the UK and in 2004.

Cold Cave have recorded a first video for a song from their latest album 'Cherish The Light Years'. The video for "Villains of the Moon" was directed and photographed by Sebastian Mlynarski and the song was released in April.

Shriekback have recorded a video for the song "The Flowers of Angst" which is taken from their eleventh studio album 'Life in A Loading Bay' which was released last year. Check out their blog entry for a video description and what inspired them to record such floral music video.

Depeche Mode's "Ghost" - Fan Retrospective

Hundred Depeche Mode fans from Poland have once again gathered around The Project 'Shadows om Masses' to record a tribute video for the the song "Ghost", one of the bonus tracks of the “Sounds of The Universe” album. The brilliant video was shot in Warsaw, Poland and features a retrospective script which is based on typical themes and motives from about 50 original Depeche Mode videos. As already mentioned, the project was prepared by a group of Polish fans, who, having no budget, organized a professional crew and technical support to shoot the video.

WAW: The Mary Onettes- Islands

The second album by the Swedish indie pop group is about to be released on November 4, 2009. The album is entitled 'Islands' and will be available worldwide. Earlier this year they released the 'Dare' EP with three tracks. The first single from the album "Puzzles" was released on September 30, 2009. Watch the video for it!

Yesterday while I was browsing for some underground Maus releases, I discoverd this video for a song "Enterprise". The music for this song was written and performed by John Maus and the video was recorded by Jennifer Juniper Stratford. This could be a possible new release by Mr. John Maus but there is no official confirmation of that. So we have to wait to see and enjoy this wonderful song in the meanwhile.
