Duran Duran- The Chauffeur

This video for The Chauffeur is the only one on the album in which the band do not appear at all. It was filmed around Notting Hill during the autumn of 1982, while the band was away on tour.A moody, elegant black-and-white piece inspired by the fetishistic imagery of Helmut Newton which features two mysterious, hauntingly beautiful women who are seen ritualistically dressing themselves in elaborate lingerie before traveling separately through the dark streets and tunnels of London to meet in a vacant underground car park for an exotic lesbian encounter.

Duran Duran- Girls on Film

Nude Wave is a new label on the Burning Flame Blog which will feature music videos which have caused controversy during the 80's musical era. Most of them have been banned, censored or edited due to the explicit content of of nudity, sexuality or violence which they showed.
The first video ever that caused such controversy was by Duran Duran a very famous band at that time. The video for their song "Girls on Film" featured topless women, mud wrestling and other depictions of sexual fetishes. It was directed by fellows Godley and Creme. The video was instantly banned by BBC and heavily re-edited for the MTV airplay. Here is the original version of the video. Enjoy!

Duran Duran- Falling Down

"Falling Down" is the first single from Duran Duran's album 'Red Carpet Massacre' which is due to be sent to radio on September 25, 2007. It is a solid and radio friendly song with laid back atmosphere that reminds of some old Duran Duran Duran songs like "The Chauffeur" and "Save A Prayer". Nothing new, the usual pop sound with more or less chart potential. Check the link!
