Thomas Dolby, one of the most important figures of the Synth-pop movement of the early 80's New wave has released the 2-disc CD and DVD (PAL) entitled 'Singular Thomas Dolby', a collection which features all Thomas Dolby’s singles and videos. It has been released in the UK on May 18th 2009 and is available worldwide as an import.

'Kingdom of Welcome Addiction' is the third studio album by IAMX the former Sneaker Pimps frontman Chris Corner which is released on May 19, 2009. a-ha- Foot of The Mountain -NEW SINGLE-

The Norwegian group A-ha have finally returned after four years with a new single out on April, 24 2009. The single was premiered the same day on a Norwegian radio. The song is entitled "Foot of the Mountain" and it is based upon the track "The Longest Night" by Magne Furuholmen. The album 'Foot of the Mountain' is due to be released on June 19, 2009.

Fischerspooner- Entertainment

Fischerspooner have released their third album 'Entertainment' which is a follow-up to their album 'Odyssey'. The album is released on May, 4 2009 around the world and it was produced by Jeff Saltzman who also worked with the Sounds and the Killers. The first single, "Supply & Demand", has been made available as a free mp3 download from the Fischerspooner website. Belouis Some- 'Some People' Reissue

Almost 25 years after the original release of 'Some People' by Belouis Some , the album has been reissued on CD by Cherry Red Records. 'Some People' was a debut album for Neville Keighley, originally released in 1985. Three singles were released from the album including "Round and Round" which was featured in 'Petty in Pink' soundtrack as well as 'Imagination' which remained his biggest hit.

Gang Of Four's Entertainment Anniversary

Gang Of Four will celebrate the thirty year Anniversary of 'Entertainment'. 'Entertainment' is the debut album by Gang of Four which was released in 1979. In 2003, the album was ranked number 490 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time. The album was reissued in 1995 and included bonus tracks.
Through September, Gang of Four will play Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leamington Spa and London. They have also announced few festival dates including the Lovebox and Benicassim Festival.

Next Wave: Detachments

Detachments is a British group from London, consisting of Marshal (vox / guitar / keys), Lewis Clark (lead guitar), Max Moreau (bass / keys) and Peter Dawson (drums). They have been signed to Thisisnotanexit Records releasing the debut single "Fear no Fear." Their album is going to be produced by Tim Goldsworthy and Trevor Jackson and it is scheduled to be released in Autumn 2009. Their music takes the best from the previous decades and it is in the best way described as everything from Post Punk, New Wave to Industrial House. Peaches- I Feel Cream

Peaches will release her fifth studio album 'I Feel Cream' on May, 4 in Europe and May, 5 2009 in North America. The album was produced by Peaches alongside members of Simian Mobile Disco, Digitalism, Soulwax and Drums Of Death. It will be preceded by a double A-side single, 'Talk To Me'/'More'.

Instant Hit: Sparks- My Other Voice

"My Other Voice" was one of the outstanding tracks on the Sparks' album No1 Song in Heaven which was released in 1979. Although perfectly produced with electronic Cymbols and was one of the outstanding tracks on the album, it was never released as single. The whole album was produced by Giorgio Moroder.
