Duran Duran- The Chauffeur

This video for The Chauffeur is the only one on the album in which the band do not appear at all. It was filmed around Notting Hill during the autumn of 1982, while the band was away on tour.A moody, elegant black-and-white piece inspired by the fetishistic imagery of Helmut Newton which features two mysterious, hauntingly beautiful women who are seen ritualistically dressing themselves in elaborate lingerie before traveling separately through the dark streets and tunnels of London to meet in a vacant underground car park for an exotic lesbian encounter.

Instant Hit: The Human League- Marianne (Alt. Version)

"Marianne" was a principal track on Human League's 'Holiday 80' EP. Two versions of "Marianne" were completed for this EP, but this alternate version has only appeared in remixed and re-edited form on the Australian release of the 'Travelogue' album. Of this version, Philip said, "We did a nice version of Marianne - much better than the 'Holiday '80' one. I think it was great - one of the best things we've ever done - but Virgin wouldn't put it out because they didn't like it."

Another Step to the 13th

Earlier this year Duran Duran announced the title of a song from their forthcoming, 13th, studio album. Now the title of the album has been added. It will be called 'All You Need is Now' and it will also feature one track guest appearance by Ana Mantronic from Scissor Sister. The band have also contributed their own cover version of David Bowie's classic "Boys Keep Swinging" to singer's Tribute album 'We Were So Turned On'. Stay tuned for more news or check.
